Giddings ISD Wants to Hear From You!
Giddings ISD is receiving Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funds from the federal government via the Texas Education Agency.
The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted student learning. In response, the American Rescue Plan (ARP) was signed into law and it included Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funds for school districts across the country. This is the third law providing funding as a response to the pandemic and is known as ESSER III.
Giddings ISD is applying to receive its share of ESSER III funding as determined by the Texas Education Agency (TEA). We are seeking feedback from all district and community stakeholders to help determine how the district should best utilize these resources.
