Please join us in celebrating one of the brightest gems of Giddings ISD, Shirley Higgins. After 25 years of service at Giddings Middle School, she will be retiring at the end of this week. Mrs. Higgins was surrounded by friends and family at her retirement party yesterday. It was a joy to hear stories and enjoy cake and punch. Mrs. Higgins also took a seat in her retirement-rocker.

We thank you for the love and dedication you have shown over the years. You leave joy and blessing all around you. We cannot imagine what the campus will be like without you, but we can’t help but hope for the best for you in this new chapter of your life.
